Join us for an inspiring weekend workshop where you will learn how to build an environmentally friendly tiny house using natural materials such as cob (a mixture of clay, sand, straw and water) and reclaimed pallets.

Throughout this hands-on workshop, you will gain practical experience in building a simple yet functional structure that can be used for many different purposes: a tiny house, sauna, annex, shed or outdoor shelter, and much more. The only limit is your imagination, and you will learn the basic techniques of cob mixing, wall construction and roof building. We focus on sustainability, creative design and collaboration.

Your Instructor

Jens has dedicated the past 12+ years to living, working and learning within sustainable communities around the world. Together with his partner Nicole, he has lived in multiple countries, working with natural building, permaculture and self-sufficiency.

With a solid background in cob building and sustainable construction methods, Jens has created everything from traditional clay houses to experimental structures using natural materials such as straw, wood and reclaimed materials. He has experience with both traditional and modern techniques and loves turning theory into practice, giving participants hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the materials.

Jens is known for his calm and grounded teaching style, where he guides participants through the entire building process with patience, humour and presence – from understanding the basic principles to getting their hands in the clay and creating something real with their own hands. He believes in simple solutions, good craftsmanship and the joy of building something both beautiful and functional.

In addition to his work with natural building, Jens also works with massage and body therapy, helping people create balance and wellbeing through body awareness and movement.
