This takes place on Funen (Fyn),
a small Danish island known for quiet roads, rolling hills, open landscapes and very little traffic.
There isn’t much of a concept here.
You stay at Skovgård.
Pitch your tent, or arrive in a campervan.
During the day, we ride through the landscape.
In the evening, we come back to relax and socialize in nature.
There is Fire
There is Food
There is Sauna
There is space for you to slow down
And there are other people,
who came for the same reason as you.
The Base
We return to Skovgård every day.
- Stay in your own tent, campervan or similar
- Simple facilities and access to water
- Food cooked over fire, wood fired pizza.
- Wood fired sauna heated daily
- Cold water for cooling down
- Hot showers available
In the evening, people gather around the fire.
There is no program. Just time, food and the day settling.
The Rythm
The days are simple and repeatable.
- Morning → slow start
- Day → cycling
- Afternoon → back at the farm
- Evening → food, sauna, fire
We ride 4 guided rides in total.
On the first day, we start with an easy ride.
On the last day, there is time for a relaxed morning, a final ride a shower, and a proper goodbye before departure.
The riding:
We ride on small, quiet roads. Through rolling hills, farmland, coastline and old estates.
Daily routes: 50–80 km
Pace: approx. 28–31 km/h
One group, steady and smooth
This is not a race. But you should be comfortable riding in a group at a consistent pace.
We stop along the way.
Sometimes for a view.
Sometimes for coffee.
All food is included, drinks are available for purchase on the farm, or bring your own, there is frigdes and freezers you can use. One of the days includes a café stop, with lunch, coffee and cake included.
(Drinks can be purchased separately.)

This is for riders who:
Enjoy several days of riding in a row
Are used to riding in a group
Appreciate quiet roads and natural surroundings
Prefer simple setups over hotels
Some people come on their own, some in groups
You quickly get to know each other on the bike and around the fire.

You Bring:

- Spare tube / pump
- Warm clothes for the evenings

Getting here
Skovgård is located on Funen, in western Denmark.
- Approx. 1 hour from the German border (Flensburg)
- Easy access by car
- Free parking on site
- Toll free bridge or ferry connection
It’s quite simple
You ride.
You eat.
You get tired.
You sit by a fire.
And then you do it again the next day.
